Amanda Oliphant, A.K.A Apo Art, is an artist selling oil and wax paintings – as well as the occasional acrylic piece – responding to the landscape through abstraction. Over the years, her work has developed through a wide range of disciplines, also including sculpting, new media, drawing and installation.
Apo Art aims to spark a conversation with each piece, and having been described as a ‘manipulator of materials’, Oliphant has no boundaries when it comes to her work. Her passion for transforming ideas and materials into new creative assemblages shines through in every painting, creating a metaphor for exploring associations to the natural world using a variation of mediums.
