Bunny Bosworth is the creation of textile artist Natalie who has been creating her signature jewellery range in her home studio in Liverpool for almost a decade.
Her statement jewellery pieces are made using the eternally popular Liberty of London Tana Lawn fabric which she works her sewing magic on to create eye-catching, three-dimensional necklaces, bracelets and earrings for lovers of colour and pattern. Inspired by Liverpool’s maritime character and her experience as a costume designer and bespoke seamstress, each piece is designed and crafted by hand with a focus on quality and technique.
Each collection starts with a carefully selected ‘palette’ of prints to have something for everyone, whether you like bold colours, ditsy florals or something more classic. For each palette of prints there will also be a selection of complimentary hand-dyed tassel colours to create maximalist tassel earrings.
Each rope piece is created using cotton cord enveloped in the cotton Tana Lawn fabric, with a unique construction process that makes it strong enough and flexible enough to create the statement shapes, while also being soft and light for comfortable all day wear. There are also elegant button stud earrings and cabochon necklaces that showcase the fabrics in their simplest form.
Alongside the custom pieces you can also buy mystery bags that contain seconds, samples, discontinued designs and other surprises, with 50% of the proceeds of each being donated to Refugee Community Kitchen to help fund their work in the UK and Calais working with vulnerable displaced people.
All Bunny Bosworth packaging is recyclable, including the hand stamped gift boxes that each piece is delivered in, making them perfect for Christmas. Gift wrapping with reusable ribbon and recyclable brown paper, with direct to recipient postage is also available for a small fee and includes a hand written card.
