Elly Cottrill is an illustrator who sells digital giclee inkjet art prints. She takes inspiration from the beauty in period architecture and vintage travel posters, representing buildings, towns and landscapes in a bright, playful, simplified style. These are printed onto archival fine art paper using the highest quality inkjet printers.
Cottrill’s drawings are constructed using layers of shapes drawn in Adobe Illustrator, as her influences include the bold colours and minimalism of Matisse’s cut outs, 20th century poster art design and the colourful contemporary style associated with 1950’s mid-century pattern design.
