Nicola Leighton is an embroidery artist who creates hand-stitched inspirational, funny, cute and rude quote-embroidered hoops. Coming from a family of needle workers, she is extremely passionate about embroidery as an art form and relishes the wonderfully slow, mindful making process.

Leighton’s passion for the craft has lead her to creating kits, often demonstrating the process to her customers at arts fairs and markets. With this, she aims to encourage others to stitch their own hoops, as well as providing basic patterns for those who have their own materials. All Little Light Stitchery fabrics are carefully curated and matched with quotes, intended to make people smile, feel inspired, know they are loved or to laugh out loud! Prices range from £3 – £35.
