Sumuyya Khader is an illustrator and artist who sells giclee and risograph prints, designed and printed in her risograph print studio. Khader’s work often goes hand in hand with her activism, as a response to the current climate. Her Black Liverpool Woman collection includes strong female figures, abstract pieces and Liverpool landscapes, with the aim of creating beautiful artwork that also gives room for conversations to take place.
Khader recently curated a series of posters for Black History Month, celebrating Liverpool artists, which have been showcased on Blundell Lane. She also has a range of limited edition Liverpool-based works on offer, as well as pins and T-shirts.
