Sarah Gallagher Hayes crafts hand-woven sculptures of animals and figures of all sizes using British willow. She won her first commission from Kew Gardens, creating a lion to represent Aslan in their ‘The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe’ themed exhibition, before beginning a three month residency as Cheshire County Council’s willow sculptor, where she created site specific work. Each piece is different and suitable for both inside and outdoor, with prices ranging from £2 – £200. Twigtwisters has produced sculptures for film and television sets and also runs workshop courses.
