Marta Andrzejewska lives and breathes pottery, creating functional art for the home. These pieces are designed to be suitable for every day use, but are beautiful enough to save for special occasions. Using stoneware and red groggy clay, Andrzejewska hand-throws her pieces on the pottery wheel, then glazes them herself using an electric kiln, with each piece varying in design and finish.
Taking inspiration from nature, as well as the traditional Polish pottery she grew up around in her home town, Under the Stairs Pottery now has ten years of experience in ceramics. Striving to offer high-quality, unique ceramic pieces in a wide range of tableware, every work of art is different.
